I'm going away for the weekend, so I decided to finish this. In about two minutes. So it doesn't really make any sense, or have an ending, or anything. But here it is anyway.
Title: Morning Author: Enarra Source: Harry Potter Rating: PG Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter

Challenge #13
Setting: Christmastime, snowing (it may be snowing outside, or merely mentioned).
Requirements: -Mistletoe (of course), though it needn't be a romantic story. -An overall happy tone.
OR
-Inspired by the poem (and carol) Christmas Bells:
( I heard the bells on Christmas Day... )
-Extra cookies if you actually use a line from the poem somewhere in the story. Tastefully. :)

*sneaks in* Hi there.
So: Thanksgiving. For me, that equals evading the family and trying to write. For everyone else with a bunch of those people trying to shove meat at you-
Challenge #12:
Source: any Rating: isn't it subjective anyway? :) Setting: somewhere dark, with a small source of light
Requirements: -focus on description of the senses -include fear somewhere (fear of anything, not just the dark)
Deadline: Er... nope? Deadline? We still use those?
Woo hoo! I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive! Prove you are too! ^_^

We've had a couple of responses, so here's the next challenge; due two Saturdays from now. Because of the HBP release, it's HP specific this time.
Also, I wanted to add: we now have a tag system, so when you write your entries, please label under tags by challenge number and by source. Ex: [Tags: 11, Harry Potter]
Challenge #11:
Source: Harry Potter Rating: any Word Limit: none
Requirements: -Set after the beginning of HBP - may be anywhere from the summer before it starts to far after the ending. -Include: "The moral? There is no moral." Can be said, thought, etc. -Can have a moral anyway. =P
Duedate: Two Saturdays from now, July 30th.
Note: When you post, make certain you VERY CLEARLY mark your entry with "Challenge 11: Half-Blood Prince". And for those of you who haven't finished yet, don't read the entries. ^^
